Further Branding Development

As a group we have continued to each work on certain elements of branding for the Film Festival in order to work quicker and easily. Me and Brylle continued to work on ticket designs and then Brylle developed the final designs of our two ideas combined, I also worked on stickers, Alex worked on design boards, Jake worked on a booklet and social media, Josh worked on popcorn boxes, Lee worked on wristbands and lanyards, Selina worked on mockup designs and Cara created the final presentation.

Social media; For social media, we decided to create an Instagram account for the Film Festival (@overlayfilmfestival) for a way of promoting and advertising. The account consists of short clips and gifs that we have created as a group as well as rough sketches and final designs.

Popcorn box; The popcorn box was uses the same shapes as the final logo design; circle and rectangle. This works extremely well as it is clear to see the link between the two. It uses the colours red and yellow to keep the colour scheme consistent throughout.

Wristbands and lanyards; The lanyards and wrist bands will be given to each student upon arrival for entry into the Festival, they are an extremely effective way to advertise and brand the festival as they are worn which means they'll attract more students to take part in the festival. They stick to the colour scheme of red, yellow and orange and use the typeface Futura.

Design boards (one example); We have created design boards in order to show the journey of how we branded the Film Festival from start to finish, it is important to justify each design decision to reach a successful outcome.

Mock-ups; Mock ups have been created as extra ways of branding the festival; e.g. event staff t-shirts, tote bags, cups etc.
